Yaqub (B.K.A YaThatIsAll) has been one of Chicago’s Top Afro-Hip Hop trendsetters for close to a decade. Yaqub Hails from the south side of Chicago and since a young age exhibited signs of great showmanship in acting and music. As a young MC who studied audio design from the age of 17, working as a studio engineer in Chicago with a number major artists publicized Ya as true creative and not just a “Rapper” when it came to music. Ya’s Released his mix-tape debut working closely with Zoawe Joseph and First and Fifteenth Co Founder “Chilly”.
